Base Salary
$127k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and ship product features across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Own features from design through deployment and take responsibility for code in production.
- Collaborate with product, design, and clinical domain experts to translate requirements into software.
- Participate in code reviews and provide useful technical feedback.
- Identify problems early, improve team processes, and raise engineering quality standards.
- Understand deployment behavior, system performance, failure modes, and production observability.
- Use AI tooling thoughtfully for coding, learning, and problem-solving while evaluating its output.
- Learn the clinical trial design domain and contribute context that improves product solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience shipping production systems.
- Experience working across the full stack rather than specializing in only one layer.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment with evolving requirements and technology.
- Ability to build, deploy, test, maintain, and safely extend production software.
- Strong judgment regarding code quality, technical tradeoffs, testing, and maintainability.
- Ability to contribute to code reviews, share context, identify risks, and improve team effectiveness.
- Curiosity about clinical trial design and willingness to learn the domain.
