Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and build and configure Adobe Experience Manager components using Sling Models, OSGi, HTL, and Java.
- Apply AI-generated test cases and AI-assisted debugging while validating generated outputs and owning software quality.
- Support AEM content modeling, taxonomy planning, MSM activities, third-party API integrations, and DAM integrations.
- Use AEM-specific prompt engineering for component generation, OSGi configuration, and code review, and contribute reusable prompts.
- Work in AEM as a Cloud Service environments with Cloud Manager pipelines and cloud-native OSGi deployment patterns.
- Develop awareness of AEM Edge Delivery Services, including document-based authoring and block development.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to translate requirements and designs into working implementations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field, with 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager Sites development and hands-on AEM component development.
- Experience with HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, OSGi/Felix, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager pipelines, cloud-native deployment patterns, and AEM Edge Delivery Services.
- At least 2 years of commercial AEM development experience in production environments, or equivalent demonstrated through client projects, internships, or significant personal/open-source projects.
- Hands-on use of GitHub Copilot or Claude in daily AEM development and direct experience calling LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
- Understanding of LLM token management, latency, cost trade-offs, AI limitations, and responsible AI use.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, Docker containers, and cloud and DevOps fundamentals.
- Understanding of Agile delivery fundamentals and sprint-based development.
