Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship performant, accessible iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modular UI patterns.
- Translate product requirements into technical designs covering system design, API design, and mobile data modeling.
- Write testable Swift code, debug issues, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, shared components, experimentation platforms, and data services.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and pairing sessions.
- Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled capabilities within mobile applications.
- Contribute reusable mobile patterns, tooling, and engineering best practices across iOS applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent related professional experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience with Swift and iOS/iPadOS development.
- At least 3 years of experience with mobile architectures including MVVM or VIPER, state management, dependency injection, navigation, modularization, and testability.
- Proven ownership of iOS application features or services, including API integration, data models, and low-level system design.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UIKit/SwiftUI, concurrency, networking, persistence, and automated testing.
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and safely integrating AI/ML-enabled capabilities.
- Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and building resilient mobile data layers with offline handling, caching, error management, and on-device persistence.
- Proficiency with Xcode, Git, mobile CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Bitrise.
- Experience with unit, integration, and UI testing using XCTest and XCUITest, plus profiling, monitoring, crash reporting, and analytics.
- Experience scaling large consumer-facing mobile applications, including A/B testing, feature flags, and experimentation frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS and backend services supporting mobile applications, along with technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
