Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, and support new or revised enterprise application systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology activities, and systems analysis.
- Monitor and control application development through analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Analyze complex application and business process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and evaluate business usage to ensure system functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; provide user and operational support.
- Define operating standards and processes and ensure required procedures are followed.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new and lower-level analysts.
- Assess technology and business risks while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, policies, and controls.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
- Hands-on proficiency with Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Kafka, MQ, and MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Lightspeed for build management, and application deployment on OpenShift.
- Experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and interest in applying AI to improve the software development lifecycle are strong pluses.
