Base Salary
$172k - $301k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of the Access Review product area.
- Lead the design and development of backend services and APIs for Access Review and related IAM capabilities.
- Drive complex projects from requirements and design through implementation, deployment, and operation.
- Design and evolve identity governance and lifecycle capabilities, including access reviews, policies, provisioning, and de-provisioning.
- Improve system performance, scalability, security, reliability, logging, monitoring, and auditing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to backend engineers and raise engineering standards.
- Partner with product, UX, security, and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of backend software development experience, including work in identity and access management, security, data management, or related areas.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Golang or Java.
- Strong experience designing and implementing backend systems, APIs, and microservices architectures.
- Experience driving architecture and technical design for complex, scalable backend systems.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, access control, and security principles.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and cloud IAM concepts and services.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching, data modeling, and distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and independently solve complex technical problems.
- Preferred experience with enterprise IGA, IAM, access review, access certification, or authorization products, as well as Docker, Kubernetes, and large-scale distributed systems.

- Base pay of $171,900–$300,800, plus equity when applicable and variable or incentive compensation.
