Responsibilities
- Design and deliver performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production environments
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents running across industries including finance, healthcare, commerce, telecommunications, and media
- Partner directly with enterprise and startup leaders to understand business challenges and develop solutions
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s AI-agent platform
- Develop generalizable agent frameworks, self-service capabilities, and new agent architectures
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments
- Builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English
- Preferred: experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
- Preferred: founder or founding engineer experience
- Preferred: familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
- Preferred: experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go
- Preferred: prior customer-facing experience or experience leading technical projects with external stakeholders
