Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable infrastructure for systems serving millions of concurrent users across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Develop automation, developer tooling, deployment workflows, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
- Architect and operate Kubernetes-based solutions across AWS and managed Kubernetes platforms such as EKS.
- Manage infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools and build reusable resource abstractions.
- Provide operational support, troubleshoot distributed systems, and resolve complex production infrastructure issues.
- Partner with engineering and SRE teams to define and enforce deployment standards across multiple teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure-focused engineering, including work with large-scale systems.
- Expert-level Kubernetes and container orchestration experience, including deployment, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting on EKS or equivalent platforms.
- Advanced scripting experience with Python, Bash, Groovy, or Java for automation and custom tooling.
- Deep experience with ArgoCD, Jenkins, Gradle or Maven, Git, and GitOps workflows.
- Experience managing AWS and/or GCP compute, networking, storage, and managed services.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
- Strong Linux, shell scripting, and networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and load balancing.
- Ability to debug complex distributed systems and solve ambiguous infrastructure problems in production.
- Preferred: experience with generative AI concepts, AI/ML development environments, model operationalization, or SageMaker.
- Preferred: experience maintaining Spring-based Java runtime environments and familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, service mesh patterns, Cassandra, Kafka, Solr, Postgres, or Redis.
