Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives on technical discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and technical validation for new and expansion deals.
- Build relationships with engineering, security, product, and IT stakeholders in complex and high-security environments.
- Help customers connect Cursor to developer productivity, secure software delivery, and mission velocity outcomes.
- Deliver technical presentations, whiteboards, and workshops for technical and executive audiences.
- Advocate for customer needs internally with Product and Engineering.
- Partner with post-sales teams to ensure effective handoff and onboarding.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to work alongside engineers and present to CTOs, CISOs, and program leaders.
- Understanding of software development life cycle workflows and the ability to connect technical details to operational impact.
- Hands-on technical fluency with developer workflows, AI tooling, and complex or constrained environments.
- Strategic deal-partner instincts and the ability to navigate complex, multi-threaded stakeholder groups.
- Experience in Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Consulting.
- Experience in federal, defense, or highly regulated technology is preferred.
- Interest in SLED and ability to quickly learn its buying motions, security expectations, and partner ecosystems.
