Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software for product provisioning, licensing, and purchasing capabilities.
- Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend services using Java and modern engineering practices.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver platform features.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor and coach engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, knowledge sharing, and feedback.
- Contribute to automation, infrastructure improvements, and cloud-native engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience developing production-grade applications.
- Strong experience building backend applications with Java.
- Experience with Golang and Python or other additional programming languages.
- Experience with AWS and hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Maven.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, testing, debugging, and distributed systems.
- Experience using agent-driven development and code review.
- Collaborative communication skills, mentoring ability, and a desire to remain highly technical and hands-on.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, licensing, provisioning, subscription management, or purchasing systems.
- Preferred familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD best practices and Agile development environments.
