Base Salary

$118k - $158k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Write efficient, reliable, and testable code from requirements.
  • Design and implement automated code and system tests.
  • Review, analyze, and optimize code for readability, reliability, and performance.
  • Instrument, monitor, and support live operations of owned systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across company platforms.
  • Contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, and implementation of product and design specifications.
  • Maintain understanding of core systems and upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Support platform performance, scalability, resiliency, and cross-functional troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software, electrical or electronics engineering, or a comparable field, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Maven is preferred.
  • Understanding of API design and distributed web service architecture.
  • Experience with application development best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Awareness of DevOps workflows and related technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platform services, preferably AWS.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot or Cursor is preferred.
