Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise integration solutions across Wells applications and platforms.
- Develop REST APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and reusable integration frameworks.
- Build secure, scalable, high-performing cloud-native applications using Azure services, containers, and distributed computing architectures.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational capabilities.
- Integrate Wells applications, engineering systems, vendor platforms, enterprise services, AI/ML services, and GenAI services.
- Deliver scalable data services and support automation, workflow orchestration, and modern integration patterns.
- Troubleshoot complex integration, performance, and reliability issues while ensuring compliance with security, architecture, and operational standards.
- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders on requirements, solution design, and architecture decisions.
- Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, software quality, and operational excellence.
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the Wells Digital Platform organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- At least 10+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry with Wells domain knowledge.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and .NET Framework/.NET Core, with full-stack development capability for Azure PaaS services.
- Experience with Azure IaaS, ARM, Bicep, Ansible, YAML, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions for automated deployment of web apps, web services, APIs, and Docker containers.
- Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns including Repository, CQRS, and GoF.
- Understanding of Azure Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, and OAuth-based or similar authentication and authorization protocols.
- Knowledge of Databricks Notebook, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory jobs, and Power Automate integration is desirable.
- Familiarity with OSDU, WITSML, and other protocols is a plus.
- Familiarity with Peloton WellView APIs and WellView data products such as WellHeader, Perforation, Completions, Jobs, Daily Reports, and Unscheduled Events is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, independent-working, collaboration, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing abilities.
