Responsibilities
- Build and ship new features for the core Neo4j graph database.
- Develop storage engines, transaction handling, indexes, data import, and page cache capabilities.
- Write high-quality, testable, efficient code for multithreaded systems.
- Contribute to feature discussions and roadmap prioritization.
- Evaluate research papers and integrate relevant technologies into the database core.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve system performance.
- Lead and deliver development projects.
- Develop independent product enhancements and integrations during “Do what you want weeks.”
Requirements
- Experience designing multithreaded systems and algorithms.
- Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in Java or a C-style programming language.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization.
- Experience leading and delivering development projects.
- Strong communication and collaborative discussion skills.
