Responsibilities
- Investigate customer-impacting field issues, isolate faults, identify root causes, and guide development teams toward fixes.
- Monitor business intelligence and telemetry dashboards to detect emerging customer issues.
- Analyze data and logs and use debugging skills to resolve issues quickly.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external partners and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Help scope requirements and improve triage tooling and workflows.
- Follow software development practices and support or mentor teammates by sharing knowledge.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- Experience in software engineering, systems debugging, or technical support.
- Experience with Linux and at least one programming language such as C, C++, or Python.
- Familiarity with networking concepts; WiFi, broadband, or video technology experience is a plus.
- Exposure to Elastic, Splunk, Datadog, or similar data analysis and monitoring tools is a plus.
- Understanding of software development practices, version control, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
