Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, executes, debugs, and maintains secure, scalable production software solutions.
- Creates architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures software code meets design constraints.
- Uses enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Analyzes large and diverse datasets, develops visualizations and reporting, and uses identified patterns to improve applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Applies software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve engineering effectiveness.
- Supports application testing, operational stability, resiliency, and secure software delivery.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, React, Python, and SQL.
- Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, with the ability to guide peers.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and application resiliency and security practices.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
