Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern C++.
- Participate in system architecture and design discussions.
- Debug, profile, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with hardware, QA, and product stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience in C++ development.
- Experience with modern C++ standards, the Win32 API, and DCOM.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, STL, concurrency, the software development lifecycle, and version control using Subversion or Git.
- Desirable experience with real-time systems, TCP and UDP socket programming, hardware interfacing or driver development, Linux programming, Python, C#, unit-testing frameworks, and NSIS or WiX installer systems.
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, organizational, adaptability, accountability, and continuous-improvement skills.
