Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test Salesforce software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
- Develop deep expertise in Mastercam’s critical business processes.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement platform updates.
- Coordinate with other engineers to determine implementation approaches for requested changes.
- Conduct code and technical reviews and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Evaluate and recommend software development tools, technologies, and processes.
- Support the integration of an acquired company into Mastercam and Sandvik programs, processes, compliance requirements, and financial controls.
- Assume broader business-assurance responsibilities as integration work decreases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6–9 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
- Proficiency in Salesforce declarative development, including fields, objects, flows, and permissions.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and best practices.
- Experience with source control, peer reviews, unit testing, and other standard software development practices.
- Experience with agile software development.
- Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Strong written and verbal communication, time management, teamwork, organization, attention to detail, multitasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred.
- Revenue Cloud experience is a plus.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools or automation to improve productivity and operational effectiveness, or the ability to rapidly learn and apply such technologies at scale.
