Responsibilities
- Identify manual and repetitive engineering tasks and lead their transformation into automated solutions.
- Scale development lifecycle efficiency while aligning tactical fixes with broader architectural strategy.
- Mentor and coach team members on identifying and implementing optimization opportunities.
- Design flexible and scalable systems that operate within a larger network of microservices.
- Build, own, and operate systems to high standards of resilience and service.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering groups and stakeholders across the payments ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development principles in a backend or full-stack environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-interaction skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- AI proficiency or curiosity and willingness to use emerging technology to improve team productivity.
- Payments or financial domain knowledge is preferred but not required.
