Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern software engineering practices.
- Design, implement, and optimize secure, reliable, scalable, observable, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure.
- Improve and automate GitLab CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, security validation, and deployment processes.
- Promote application security and code quality using SonarQube, security scanning solutions, and automated quality gates.
- Apply AI-powered tools and automation across requirements analysis, coding, code reviews, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and deployment.
- Automate repetitive engineering activities and improve developer productivity, delivery speed, and product quality.
- Analyze business requirements, dependencies, and risks, and contribute to solution architecture and technical design decisions.
- Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, performance optimization, refactoring, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain architecture diagrams, infrastructure designs, technical specifications, and engineering knowledge repositories.
- Mentor developers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and own solutions through deployment and production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience contributing to technical decisions and engineering improvements.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience building and supporting REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and/or Kafka.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud services.
