Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day delivery of assigned work, including clarifying feature ambiguity, managing tasks, supporting releases, and verifying production outcomes.
- Implement and maintain payroll product features across front-end and back-end systems.
- Contribute to delivery planning by estimating effort, raising risks and blockers, and communicating progress.
- Support software quality through testing, code reviews, safe changes, and attention to correctness, maintainability, security, and performance.
- Use modern tooling, automation, and AI-assisted development to improve delivery efficiency and code quality.
- Support less experienced engineers through collaboration, review feedback, and mentoring.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working on IT projects across multiple phases of the SDLC.
- At least 2 years of recent C# .NET development experience.
- Experience with web front-end technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, React, or ASP.NET Razor.
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of software configuration management tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with service-oriented frameworks.
- Ability to implement features, write unit tests, and fix complex bugs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Public cloud exposure, particularly Azure, is a bonus.
