Base Salary

$85k - $86k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Perform software requirements analysis, system integration, research, design, development, and testing.
  • Develop object-oriented software applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build backend services and REST APIs and develop component-based front-end applications with ReactJS.
  • Design and integrate APIs, including endpoint versioning and documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.
  • Write unit and integration tests and work with CI/CD build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Work with Kafka data-streaming concepts including producers, consumers, topics, and partitions.
  • Serve as a technical spokesperson and subject matter expert when needed.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of related experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Proficiency with ReactJS for modern front-end application development.
  • Practical experience with test-driven development and unit and integration testing.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Harness, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Understanding of API design and integration, including RESTful endpoints, versioning, and documentation.
  • Exposure to Kafka and data-streaming concepts.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must be able to obtain a public trust.
  • Ability to apply software engineering concepts, principles, standards, and methodologies to resolve technical issues.
