Base Salary

$57k - $115k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, test, document, and maintain applications, integrations, tools, systems, and software components.
  • Provide production support, incident management, technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, defect correction, and application validation.
  • Own problem management through resolution, including identifying system discrepancies and developing preventative measures.
  • Create unit test plans, test data, scripts, technical designs, specifications, documentation, and effort estimates.
  • Monitor application and system lifecycles, review patches and upgrades, and coordinate appropriate implementation.
  • Perform peer reviews for Level I and Level II developers and ensure adherence to development, release, quality, and documentation standards.
  • Install, configure, tune, maintain, and performance-monitor applications, application servers, and related technologies.
  • Act as a liaison with third-party vendors and communicate application, tool, and data issues to customers and information systems personnel.
  • Make recommendations to architecture and management regarding future application structure and design.
  • Participate in process, standards, and best-practice groups and maintain current technical knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or a combination of relevant education, certifications, and experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Programming proficiency in JavaScript, Java, .NET, C# or other object-oriented languages, HTML, XML, and web technologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL DDL and DML.
  • Experience with application design, program logic, test data, debugging, troubleshooting, and software defect resolution.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Middleware, enterprise scheduling and monitoring tools, application servers, Web API, ASP.NET, AJAX, and user or custom controls.
  • Knowledge of OOAD, n-tier architectures, and MVC, MVP, or MVVM design patterns.
  • Experience with REST web services, test-driven development frameworks, and Agile software processes.
  • Strong triage, problem-solving, communication, documentation, prioritization, and independent judgment skills.
  • Ability to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to travel or work at locations outside the office.
  • Microsoft .NET certifications such as MCP, MCSD, or MCAD are preferred.

  • Estimated base pay range is $56,700–$114,850 per year.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office setting, with possible exposure to cooler temperatures and electronic-equipment hazards.
  • Travel may be required, and work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • The position is hired on an at-will basis.
