Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Java-based enterprise applications across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop backend services, APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and cloud-native applications.
- Build and maintain frontend components and intuitive user interfaces using React, HTML5, and CSS.
- Design, document, and deliver scalable solutions while collaborating with stakeholders, technical leadership, and Agile teams.
- Create and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
- Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
- Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and propose AI-informed product approaches.
- Conduct root-cause analysis, resolve complex coding and performance issues, and identify and mitigate technical risks.
- Contribute to technical standards, process optimization, sprint goals, and broader engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
- Minimum 8 years of software development experience specializing in Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of Java, data structures, object-oriented principles, modern application architecture, microservices, event-driven services, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with service-oriented and microservices architectures, REST and GraphQL implementations, and full-stack web application development.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS, Java, Python or similar server-side languages, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle relational databases.
- Experience designing and implementing high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Experience with build, deployment, CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration tools including Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS is advantageous.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, version control, GitHub Enterprise, JIRA, and Agile software delivery.
- Practical experience using AI development tools and awareness of evolving AI technologies.
