Responsibilities
- Design, architect, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable enterprise applications, data platforms, and cloud-native solutions.
- Lead data pipelines, integrations, ELT/ETL processes, Snowflake data models, database objects, and SQL solutions.
- Build responsive web applications, APIs, microservices, and event-driven enterprise architectures.
- Drive AWS cloud adoption, architecture decisions, CI/CD modernization, deployment automation, observability, and DevOps practices.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technology evaluations.
- Mentor junior engineers and peers while promoting coding standards, security requirements, design principles, and engineering best practices.
- Partner with product, business, architecture, SRE, and stakeholder teams to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
- Create architecture documentation, technical standards, operational procedures, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, availability, resiliency, compliance, and security requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of related or hands-on software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Expert proficiency in Python, object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and application architecture.
- Strong experience with Snowflake, data modeling, performance optimization, data warehousing, data governance, and ELT/ETL development.
- Extensive experience developing enterprise web applications with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience designing scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, distributed systems, integration patterns, and large-scale data processing solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, ECS, EC2, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and RDS.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools, Git-based source control, branching, code reviews, release management, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, automation, automated testing, quality engineering, and performance testing.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, architecture efforts, large-scale application development, technical design discussions, and cross-team architecture decisions.
- Strong analytical, debugging, root-cause analysis, communication, stakeholder management, ownership, and mentoring abilities.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and emerging capabilities in modern data and application platforms.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments and delivering cloud-native, data-intensive enterprise applications.
