Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain uploaders and networking gear at garage facilities.
- Manage software release delivery to autonomous tractors and on-prem devices.
- Build and maintain on-prem data processing applications in C++ and Python.
- Ensure reliable ingestion of vehicle data and manage upload flows to cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain and improve an existing operator-facing UI layer for garage operations.
- Monitor server health, network performance, and data pipeline reliability.
- Develop automation tools in Python and Bash for on-prem operations.
- Collaborate with the cloud infrastructure team for data handoff between systems.
- Adapt quickly to shifting operational priorities across deployment environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience managing on-prem infrastructure and physical networking.
- Proficiency in C++ for building data processing applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and scripting.
- Hands-on experience configuring servers and network hardware.
- Experience managing software deployment pipelines to physical devices.
- Familiarity with data ingestion pipelines and managing data flows.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
