Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and support enterprise Agentic AI solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop AI agents with Microsoft Foundry/Azure AI services and Copilot Studio, including orchestration workflows, grounding, and tool-calling integrations.
- Build and troubleshoot Model Context Protocol servers and tools and connect agents to enterprise applications, APIs, operational systems, and data sources.
- Use Microsoft Fabric for data integration, engineering, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Design API integration patterns with Azure API Management and build secure containerized applications with Docker and Azure Container Registry.
- Implement identity, security, networking, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, observability, and production support capabilities across Azure environments.
- Troubleshoot issues across AI, application, API, data, identity, network, container, and Azure infrastructure layers.
- Collaborate with client technical consulting, architecture, security, infrastructure, data, and product teams.
- Lead technical design, whiteboarding, troubleshooting, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on software development experience, particularly with Python.
- At least 8 years of experience designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing Generative AI and/or Agentic AI applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Foundry/Azure AI services, Copilot Studio, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience with AI agents, orchestration workflows, grounding, tool calling, and Model Context Protocol servers and tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and enterprise data or analytics solutions.
- Strong API development and integration experience, including Azure API Management.
- Experience with Docker, containers, and Azure Container Registry.
- Understanding of Azure networking, including VNets, private endpoints, DNS, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, Azure Key Vault, Azure DevOps, and/or GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and client-facing skills.
- English proficiency is required for regular interaction with stakeholders across Canada, the United States, and other countries.
- Nice-to-have qualifications include C#/.NET or TypeScript, production enterprise GenAI or Agentic AI deployment, custom agent-tool development, Microsoft Fabric and AI integrations, AI Gateway or GenAI API management, hybrid Azure and on-premises integration, restricted-network Azure environments, observability, governance, security, and prior forward-deployed, lead consultant, principal consultant, or solution architect experience.
