Responsibilities
- Write well-designed, testable, and maintainable software.
- Implement new features, support existing functionality, fix bugs, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Own features through the full lifecycle, from design and breakdown through implementation and production deployment.
- Develop understanding of system dependencies, failure modes, trade-offs, and distributed-system behavior.
- Participate in technical discussions and collaborate with the CDP team and other departments.
- Identify problems proactively and drive solutions forward independently.
- Share knowledge and improve code quality through code reviews and daily collaboration.
Requirements
- Have 1–3 years of hands-on professional software engineering experience, excluding internships and academic projects alone.
- Have solid production-level Java experience.
- Have experience with microservices, Kotlin, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and relational or NoSQL databases.
- MongoDB and ClickHouse knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with .NET/C#, TypeScript, React, or webpack is a plus.
- Have shipped software to production in a team environment.
- Understand clean code, testing, version control, and basic system design.
- Be willing to work across the stack and learn technologies as needed.
- Be curious about distributed systems and comfortable investigating complex problems.
- Work effectively in an agile environment and handle ambiguity.
