Responsibilities
- Collaborate with R&D, Consulting, Sales, and Pre-sales to define customer-like benchmark scenarios.
- Translate project objectives, test cases, data samples, user personas, execution methods, deliverables, and timelines into structured project plans.
- Execute performance benchmarks for large-scale distributed applications and refine testing strategies for accuracy and repeatability.
- Analyze benchmark results and provide performance insights to support Sales, Marketing, and customer engagement efforts.
- Author performance briefs, best practices, and white papers using internal and external tools.
- Identify and resolve project roadblocks, maintain schedule alignment, review peer work, and share feedback with the team.
Requirements
- Experience with performance testing of large-scale distributed applications.
- Experience with Playwright, Locust, and Python; JMeter and other performance testing tools are a plus.
- Programming and scripting experience with Python, SQL, SAS, and Bash/KornShell; PowerShell and other languages are a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and diagnostics tools including Prometheus, Grafana, ESM, NMON, FIO, PerfMon, SysInternals, IOSTAT, IOMeter, NETSTAT, VMSTAT, and TOP; AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Datadog are a plus.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server system administration.
- Knowledge of SAN, NAS, NFS, FCoE, Fibre Channel, CIFS, JBOD, and storage protocols.
- Experience with Azure AKS, AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
