Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with client teams to document workflows, systems, data flows, decision points, and exception paths.
- Create operating maps and automation roadmaps that prioritize workflows by value and risk.
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents across existing tools, APIs, enterprise systems, and data sources.
- Develop evaluation frameworks, golden datasets, regression tests, and human-in-the-loop feedback processes.
- Instrument agents with audit trails, monitoring, and metrics, and scale them from shadow mode to production.
- Lead adoption and change management through workforce training, role redesign, and user enablement.
- Codify engagement learnings into playbooks, reusable components, and shared capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, technical advising, or solutions engineering.
- 4+ years of experience building applications with generative and agentic AI technologies such as LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, or multi-agent orchestration.
- Experience deploying LLM-powered systems or AI agents to production, including evaluation, monitoring, and post-launch iteration.
- Experience developing production code in Python or TypeScript.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems and data sources such as ERP, CRM, ITSM, or knowledge repositories.
- Experience working directly with customers or business stakeholders to elicit requirements, map processes, and guide technology adoption.
- Knowledge of evaluation techniques for non-deterministic systems, including golden datasets, regression testing, and human-in-the-loop feedback.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Department of War or Department of the Army experience, agent orchestration experience, forward-deployed engineering experience, organizational change management experience, BPMN or value-stream mapping experience, cloud and containerized deployment experience, automation-impact measurement, a master’s degree, and Agile or cloud certification.
