Base Salary
$200k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex ML initiatives from requirements gathering through production release.
- Architect and build the real-time AI/ML serving layer, low-latency signal path, data contracts, MLOps, governance, and observability for the DFM AI + IQE partner integration.
- Develop scalable cloud-based production systems, real-time endpoints, and MLOps infrastructure.
- Profile and optimize ML deployments for latency and throughput while supporting auto-scaling, monitoring, and alerting.
- Apply automated testing, distributed computing, secure software development, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Define technical standards, identify opportunities, and develop multi-quarter technical roadmaps.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders on robust technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience and 6–8 years of machine learning engineering experience.
- Track record of owning and delivering complex ML systems in production, including real-time ML products at scale in cloud environments.
- Deep expertise in machine learning and AI, including gradient boosting, deep learning, generative AI, transformers, self-supervised pre-training, or large language models.
- Strong Python proficiency and advanced experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.
- Experience with MLOps, including model monitoring, data and concept drift detection, and automated retraining and redeployment pipelines.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, test-driven development, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
- Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native distributed systems, with AWS strongly preferred.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, plus the ability to work independently on ambiguous assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively across engineering, product, and business audiences.
- Manufacturing, supply chain, or marketplace experience is a plus.

- Estimated base salary is $200,000–$220,000 annually, plus bonus depending on skills, experience, and location.
