Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end integration and product validation for the Transaction Stream platform.
  • Develop and apply test engineering methodologies, quality standards, and automation practices.
  • Build and use Java-based test automation frameworks for unit, functional, and integration testing.
  • Test microservices, event-driven applications, databases, communication protocols, and payment flows.
  • Monitor customer insights and production issues to identify quality improvements.
  • Lead initiatives involving automation, defect metrics, quality improvement, and proofs of concept.
  • Review project materials and coordinate with business, product, architecture, development, vendor, and global teams.
  • Use GenAI tools and agents to improve engineering productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience analyzing test strategies and delivering quality-focused solutions.
  • Experience with unit, functional, and integration testing.
  • Practical experience building and using Java test automation frameworks.
  • Experience testing microservices, event-driven applications, and databases.
  • Experience testing SFTP, sockets, HTTPS, and RPC protocols, with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of payment simulation tools such as t3 and ISO 8583 payment protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of cards and payments, including message flows and formats.
  • Preferred experience with cloud-based platform architecture, microservice testing, Spring Boot, digital-native architecture, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, coordination, and organizational skills across distributed teams and vendors.
  • Experience working in an Agile or SAFe development environment.
