Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end integration and product validation for the Transaction Stream platform.
- Develop and apply test engineering methodologies, quality standards, and automation practices.
- Build and use Java-based test automation frameworks for unit, functional, and integration testing.
- Test microservices, event-driven applications, databases, communication protocols, and payment flows.
- Monitor customer insights and production issues to identify quality improvements.
- Lead initiatives involving automation, defect metrics, quality improvement, and proofs of concept.
- Review project materials and coordinate with business, product, architecture, development, vendor, and global teams.
- Use GenAI tools and agents to improve engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience analyzing test strategies and delivering quality-focused solutions.
- Experience with unit, functional, and integration testing.
- Practical experience building and using Java test automation frameworks.
- Experience testing microservices, event-driven applications, and databases.
- Experience testing SFTP, sockets, HTTPS, and RPC protocols, with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of payment simulation tools such as t3 and ISO 8583 payment protocols.
- Strong knowledge of cards and payments, including message flows and formats.
- Preferred experience with cloud-based platform architecture, microservice testing, Spring Boot, digital-native architecture, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, coordination, and organizational skills across distributed teams and vendors.
- Experience working in an Agile or SAFe development environment.
