Base Salary
$102k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build large, scalable, consumer-facing software products.
- Develop cloud-native microservices in Ruby or Java/Kotlin.
- Work in distributed cloud environments using AWS or Azure with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver healthcare applications.
- Implement unit and integration testing and use observability and telemetry to inform decisions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
- Contribute to full-stack development using modern front-end technologies when needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience building large consumer-facing products with Ruby or Java/Kotlin.
- Experience with technical design and distributed, cloud-based environments.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable microservices.
- Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL and unit and integration testing.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
- US work authorization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience with GraphQL, AWS DevOps, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of observability and telemetry, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
