Base Salary

$220k - $405k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain security software and automation for alert enrichment, triage workflows, investigation tooling, detection, and response.
Implement and enhance internal AI agents and security bots for monitoring, investigations, reporting, and security operations.
Develop systems supporting bug bounty and vulnerability disclosure intake, triage, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
Partner with product and engineering teams on threat modeling, mitigations, and secure design guardrails.
Contribute secure-by-default libraries, services, and patterns.
Integrate security signals from cloud, endpoints, SaaS, and applications into pipelines and data models for detection and analysis.
Automate incident response, containment, and remediation workflows.
Review designs and code with security and software engineers and improve security tooling and platforms.

4+ years of experience as a software engineer with substantial security-tooling or automation experience, or as a security engineer with strong software development responsibilities.
Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Python, Go, or TypeScript, with experience building production services, CLIs, or internal tools.
Experience integrating logging pipelines, SIEMs, EDR systems, cloud APIs, or identity platforms.
Practical experience with threat modeling, secure design, or application security reviews.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and modern SaaS environments.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, own projects end-to-end, and deliver pragmatic, high-impact improvements.
Experience with bug bounty or vulnerability management programs is a plus.
Experience designing or improving AI-powered agents or security-operations automation is a bonus.
