Base Salary
$220k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain software and automation for detection and response programs.
- Implement and enhance internal AI agents and security bots for monitoring and investigations.
- Develop systems for bug bounty and vulnerability disclosure programs.
- Partner with teams to threat model new features and propose security mitigations.
- Contribute to secure-by-default libraries and services for secure feature development.
- Integrate security signals into cohesive pipelines for detection and analysis.
- Build automation to reduce manual work in incident response and remediation.
- Collaborate with engineers to review designs and improve security tooling.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on security tools or security engineering.
- Proficiency in a major programming language like Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience with security-relevant systems such as logging pipelines and SIEMs.
- Practical experience in threat modeling and secure design.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage projects end-to-end.
- Bonus: Experience with AI-powered agents for security operations.
