Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Build responsive user interfaces with JavaScript frameworks including React.js, Vue.js, Angular, or Next.js.
- Integrate generative AI capabilities using LLM APIs, prompt design, vector databases, and basic RAG workflows.
- Design database schemas, write efficient queries, and implement caching for low-latency performance.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments and maintain automated deployment pipelines.
- Lead code reviews, enforce architectural practices, write unit and integration tests, and mentor junior-to-mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing, building, and scaling web applications.
- Deep expertise in at least one Python web framework, preferably FastAPI or Django.
- Strong knowledge of Python asynchronous programming with asyncio and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Production proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and React.js, Vue.js, or Next.js.
- Understanding of Redux, Context API, Vuex, Tailwind CSS, or Styled Components.
- Practical experience consuming LLM APIs and designing effective system prompts.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience with Docker, AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, or ECS, Git, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector embeddings, Pinecone, Chroma, pgvector, and Groovy scripting is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, quality, learning, and innovation skills.
