Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Build and operate developer portals and internal platform tooling.
- Establish best practices and governance for AI-assisted development tools and protocols.
- Conduct failure mode analysis and improve tooling reliability and developer cognitive load.
- Document processes, create developer guides, and communicate technical proposals.
- Evaluate AI-specific observability metrics for development tool performance and reliability.
- Design and execute phased migrations for shared infrastructure.
- Manage infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CDK.
- Configure and roll out AI coding assistants at scale.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing CI/CD pipelines and strong knowledge of GitHub Actions.
- Experience building and operating developer portals or internal platform tooling such as Backstage.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages and a polyglot mindset.
- Frontend development skills for portal interfaces and developer-facing web tooling.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong systems thinking, failure mode analysis, and end-to-end ownership skills.
- Excellent written communication skills for documentation and developer guides.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and adoption governance.
- Preferred experience with LLM proxy or AI gateway infrastructure, AI-specific observability metrics, Terraform or CDK, LaunchDarkly or Split, developer productivity measurement, internal CLIs, scaffolding tools, automation, or Temporal.
