Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the multi-year technical strategy and architecture for the Payments platform.
- Build and evolve distributed systems that process high-volume payment traffic.
- Drive engineering quality by establishing coding standards and shared frameworks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead scaling and reliability initiatives, anticipating bottlenecks and driving improvements.
- Mentor team members through design reviews and architectural guidance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in payment systems or financial infrastructure.
- Proven track record of architecting fault-tolerant, reliable distributed systems at scale.
- Experience in transforming fragmented services into coherent, reusable systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-severity incident responses and drive systemic improvements.
- History of influencing technical direction across teams without direct authority.
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency.
