Base Salary
$94k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform software integration, black-box, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Design, develop, automate, execute, and maintain tests for application code and machine learning models.
- Analyze test failures, review logs, triage issues, isolate failures, identify root causes, and reproduce defects.
- Flash, provision, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot multi-device lab environments.
- Maintain test automation frameworks, monitoring pipelines, test infrastructure, and device health.
- Escalate quality issues, communicate test results and status, and drive investigations through resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve test coverage and resolve defects.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience as a Software Development Engineer, Software Quality Engineer, Automation Quality Engineer, or related professional role.
- Expert programming skills in at least one of Swift, Objective-C, Python, or Java, with working knowledge of Xcode.
- Strong experience with black-box testing and automated test development and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience flashing, provisioning, configuring, and managing devices in a lab environment.
- Experience setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting multi-device automation test labs.
- Strong triage and debugging skills, including log analysis, failure isolation, root cause analysis, and issue reproduction.
- Preferred qualifications include a BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes XCTest, shell scripting, iOS application code, Unix administration, server-side automation, Git, machine learning validation, and diagnosing hardware, software, networking, device, and automation infrastructure issues.
