Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain AI platforms and tools
- Design, deploy, and operate infrastructure supporting ML and LLM workloads across cloud and on-premises environments
- Build, containerize, and deploy AI services using Docker
- Build and maintain ML CI/CD pipelines for training, testing, and deployment
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
- Monitor performance, reliability, and scalability and implement observability for agentic AI systems
- Perform security updates, patching, access control, and vulnerability remediation
- Integrate AI tools with APIs, data platforms, and internal systems
- Research, evaluate, test, and prototype emerging AI, LLM, and MLOps tools and technologies
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, data, and deployment issues
- Document system architecture, deployment processes, and operational runbooks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of practical experience with LLM platforms, LLMOps, and MLOps
- Experience deploying and maintaining AI or data platforms in production
- Hands-on experience with AI and automation tools and agentic automation workflows
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Experience deploying applications with Docker, including Dockerfiles, image optimization, and container lifecycle management
- Expertise with AWS and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions and GitLab CI
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and orchestration, networking, and high-availability production AI systems
- Scripting skills in Python, PySpark, and Bash
- Knowledge of security best practices, patch management, and access controls
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams and guide engineers through teaching and coaching
- Minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required for all Scout Motors roles
