Responsibilities
- Design and build a hybrid cascading auto-labeling pipeline for annotation techniques.
- Develop and maintain annotation harnesses to assess quality and cost.
- Productionize annotation workflows for historical and new data.
- Build and maintain the Annotation Orchestrator for job sequences and vendor integrations.
- Implement scheduling and prioritization logic for annotation jobs.
- Own the annotation job configuration library for scalable onboarding.
- Build agentic workflows that self-diagnose and trigger human reviews.
- Develop tooling for annotation versioning and downstream propagation.
- Partner with Data Infrastructure to store annotations in queryable databases.
- Define metrics for annotation quality and cost, and build reporting dashboards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in ML engineering, data engineering, or applied AI.
- Strong coding skills in Python and experience with complex ML pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with annotation modalities like 2D bounding boxes and 3D cuboids.
- Ability to define and instrument quality/cost metrics in data pipelines.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineers and product managers.
- Bonus: Experience with model fine-tuning.
