Responsibilities

Own the technical success of customer deployments from scoping through launch.
Work directly with customers to understand workflows and integration requirements.
Build and maintain integrations and customer-specific solutions for production.
Debug live issues across voice, workflows, and integrations in high-stakes environments.
Translate customer needs into technical requirements and collaborate with engineering.
Identify patterns across deployments to create repeatable processes and tooling.
Establish best practices and technical standards for the Forward Deployed Engineering function.

5+ years of experience in software engineering or similar technical customer-facing roles.
Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to write production-quality code.
Experience managing ambiguous technical problems with minimal oversight.
Ability to translate business needs into engineering execution.
Good judgment on building bespoke versus scalable solutions.
Strong communication skills and a high sense of ownership.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment.
