Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, mobile, and backend applications.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left testing.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Improve automation coverage, framework reliability, testing efficiency, and product quality using test results and quality metrics.
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, API, and performance testing strategies.
- Apply AI-powered quality engineering practices such as intelligent test generation, defect analysis, test optimization, self-healing automation, and predictive quality engineering.
- Evaluate emerging testing tools and AI technologies and mentor teams in quality engineering and test automation best practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on automation testing experience with Java, Playwright, Selenium, API testing, and Appium.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks and testing solutions.
- Experience with TDD, BDD, CI/CD practices, debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of SQL, databases, and data validation techniques.
- Experience with JMeter, Gatling, or Locust and familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with BrowserStack and LambdaTest cloud-based testing platforms.
- Understanding of AI/LLM testing, prompt engineering, RAG, and quality assurance for AI-powered applications.
- Experience using Generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot and implementing AI-driven testing approaches.
- Preferred qualifications include quality engineering facilitation or training, telecommunications OSS/BSS experience, security/mobile/contract testing, AI application testing, Azure OpenAI familiarity, large-scale performance testing, and exposure to DevOps and SRE practices.
