Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of complex Core Platform features across cross-functional teams.
- Present solutions to architects, make technical decisions, distribute work, and provide development leadership.
- Work with architects, Scrum Masters, QA, and product managers to deliver features on time and with high quality.
- Develop complex features and participate in regular code reviews.
- Mentor developers and provide functional leadership to team members.
- Ensure unit and integration test coverage and review testing approaches and plans with QA.
- Document features internally and provide implementation support.
- Manage global stakeholders, engage with customers and partners, and provide ongoing sustenance for owned areas.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise application design and development.
- 10+ years of experience building scalable distributed data systems using Java and Python.
- Strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, data structures, software design, and large distributed systems.
- Experience with Java performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience writing and reviewing code.
- Technical mentorship and leadership experience with junior team members.
- Ability to deliver solutions, provide implementation support, and engage with enterprise customers and partners.
- Preferred experience includes SaaS customer support, cloud technologies, big data technologies, NoSQL databases, cloud-managed services, and prior enterprise customer development experience.
- A preferred MS degree or equivalent experience.
