Base Salary
$236k - $339k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead, build, and improve Snowflake’s feature flagging and experimentation platform.
- Work on complex frameworks and code used across Snowflake’s engineering stack.
- Build a deep understanding of Snowflake’s infrastructure and services.
- Contribute to building and operating highly scalable, resilient, and performant infrastructure.
- Manage large projects that create frameworks, platforms, tools, and automation for engineering teams.
- Partner with engineering teams to translate requirements into projects with milestones.
- Build intuitive and resilient APIs and libraries for developers and customers.
- Drive adoption of the platform and framework to meet business goals.
- Support junior team members and ensure excellent code quality and documentation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems.
- Deep experience in building and operating large scale cloud services.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, C++, or Python.
- Solid understanding of system performance, debugging, and reliability engineering.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and influence architecture decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to build reliable and scalable software systems.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to self-manage projects.
