Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-powered applications for investment banking workflows including pitch preparation, comparable company analysis, CIM drafting, diligence summarization, client research, and market surveillance.
- Own the full development lifecycle across data sourcing, LLM integration, backend logic, user-facing interfaces, prototyping, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Integrate AI solutions with firm and financial data sources including FactSet, PitchBook, SEC EDGAR, and internal databases.
- Establish technical standards, architecture guidelines, evaluation frameworks, and compliance guardrails for production AI systems.
- Partner with bankers and coverage groups to identify high-friction tasks, translate them into AI solutions, and serve as a senior liaison on AI strategy.
- Create documentation, training, and support resources while driving adoption through measurable usage and effectiveness metrics.
- Manage the AI request intake pipeline, prioritize initiatives, scope deliverables, and communicate timelines to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the long-term AI roadmap, resource planning, and hiring recommendations for the function.
- Address compliance, data sensitivity, security, and regulatory requirements in partnership with InfoSec and Legal.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a closely related financial services role.
- Deep knowledge of investment banking deal processes, including pitch construction, financial modeling, CIM preparation, and capital markets execution.
- Hands-on experience architecting and deploying LLM-based solutions, including context pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and cost-quality trade-offs.
- Full-stack prototyping experience integrating data sources, building backend logic, and creating user-friendly interfaces.
- Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with financial data APIs and platforms such as Bloomberg, PitchBook, or SEC EDGAR.
- Demonstrated ownership of identifying problems and delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Strong judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes environments and ability to set direction with incomplete information.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to senior bankers and conveying investment banking context to technology teams.
- Experience designing AI solutions within compliance, data security, and regulatory frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, engineering, or a quantitative field.
- Advanced degree is a plus.
