Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve core agent framework components, orchestration logic, and LLM integration layers.
- Own business-critical AI systems end to end from concept through production.
- Collaborate with product and field engineering teams to translate customer and product needs into robust systems.
- Improve agent reliability, manage long-running workflows, balance cost and performance, and integrate new model capabilities responsibly.
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews, shape technical standards, interview technical candidates, and lead through influence across engineering and product teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building AI/ML systems in production.
- Deep experience with Python backend systems, including performance, observability, and reliability.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating LLM-based systems such as agents, orchestration, retrieval, and tools.
- Strong clear, concise, and collaborative communication skills.
- High ownership of the long-term health of systems built.
