Responsibilities
- Build, analyze, enhance, and architect robust, high-performance, large-scale software applications.
- Partner with management teams to integrate functions, deploy new products, and improve processes.
- Resolve complex, high-impact systems and business-process problems through in-depth analysis.
- Establish and apply standards for coding, testing, debugging, implementation, scalability, availability, and consistency.
- Develop expertise across architecture, infrastructure, and business systems to support organizational goals.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage technology, business, compliance, and operational risks.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience with systems analysis and software application programming.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, React JS, REST APIs, multithreading, and Java/J2EE backend technologies.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience architecting integrated solutions with scalability, high availability, and consistency requirements.
- Experience developing APIs and web services using REST and SOAP.
- Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL or Oracle, or NoSQL platforms.
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, containers, and container deployment.
- Knowledge of enterprise design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine, or Mocha.
- Preferred experience with high-speed messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery technologies and tools.
- Demonstrated leadership, project-management, written-communication, and verbal-communication skills.
