Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide cloud operations, sustainment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for scalable AWS solutions.
- Design and implement secure, resilient, cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud.
- Develop cloud strategies, roadmaps, reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards.
- Drive DevOps, DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code, automation, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud adoption practices.
- Implement cloud networking, VPNs, identity and access management, security monitoring, zero-trust, defense-in-depth, and STIG controls.
- Assess legacy systems and develop modernization, migration, and minimal-disruption transition strategies.
- Manage IaaS, PaaS, SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud-based applications, and shared services.
- Facilitate customer onboarding and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
- Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with development, operations, security, and product management teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or master’s degree with 6+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
- Active Secret clearance required at start and U.S. citizenship required.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT-2 certification required.
- Expert-level experience designing and supporting cloud environments and demonstrated cloud operations and sustainment experience.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code, automation, DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native application architecture experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and cloud security concepts.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Bash, or Go.
- Preferred qualifications include USAF Cloud One or Platform 1 experience, zero-trust architecture experience, customer-facing experience, cloud administration, Windows Server administration, and cloud certifications.
- Preferred experience includes Active Directory, AWS AD, SAML, Ansible, AWS Console, Elastic, Jira, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
