$244k - $305k/yr

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end system design vision for the Compliance organization.
Drive foundational architectural shifts from an account-centric to a customer-centric model.
Lead the technical strategy for expanding KYC capabilities.
Architect systems that adapt to the evolving digital identity landscape.
Ensure technical foundations can absorb unforeseen regulatory mandates.
Partner with technical leaders across multiple organizations for cohesive system design.
Work closely with cross-functional partners to define and ship impactful features.
Lead and mentor engineers to raise the technical bar within Compliance.
Advocate for systemic improvements to streamline development and increase operational excellence.

15+ years of technical experience, with 10+ years in a relevant industry.
Prior knowledge of Regulatory Compliance standards (AML, KYC, sanctions screening).
Proven track record of setting technical direction for large engineering organizations.
Experience designing systems that span multiple teams and domains.
Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
Strong problem solver with experience in production systems at scale.
Hands-on experience leading large project teams and making design tradeoffs.
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in one or more back-end server languages (Java/Ruby/Go/C++).
Deep understanding of architectural patterns for high-scale web and data applications.
End-to-end ownership mentality with credibility to make impactful decisions.
