Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React.js interfaces for the Partner Portal, Shopify onboarding flow, demo site, and Rescale App.
- Partner with backend engineers using Go and Node to design API contracts for partner-facing features.
- Own frontend performance, accessibility, and interface polish.
- Work with product and partner engineering leads to turn onboarding requirements into shipped features.
- Help establish frontend engineering practices, code review norms, testing approaches, and component patterns.
- Own frontend work from design through production and communicate proactively about risks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building production React.js applications.
- Strong understanding of modern state management, including Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query.
- Experience with hooks, context, memoization, and component architecture.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and virtualized lists.
- Experience with accessibility standards and practices including WCAG 2.1, ARIA, and keyboard navigation.
- Comfort working directly with backend APIs in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
- Preferred experience with Shopify app development, embeddable SDKs or widgets, or e-commerce integrations.
