Responsibilities
- Build and maintain software applications, tools, and functions supporting the capital-markets business.
- Enhance post-trade processing capabilities such as trade payment calculation, payment processing, and trade regulatory reporting.
- Participate in projects migrating legacy systems to new platforms.
- Lead application and project design and oversee project development.
- Support trading systems by answering user inquiries and resolving batch-job issues.
- Collaborate with the development team, share designs and solutions, follow development standards, and contribute to team objectives.
Requirements
- Require 5–7+ years of experience in a large and complex application-development environment involving complicated data schemas.
- Require professional experience with C/C++ and strong SQL knowledge.
- Require proven object-oriented design and object-oriented programming experience.
- Require experience designing applications with complicated process flows and analyzing and designing complex data/object relationships.
- Require experience with source-control tools and scheduling tools.
- Require at least 5 years of experience in the financial industry.
- Interest-rate swap industry experience is a plus.
- Must be a collaborative team player who can work independently, learn quickly, and solve problems.
