Responsibilities
- Design and evolve asynchronous streaming, batch-processing, and universal API architectures.
- Develop high-performance backend microservices and infrastructure for secure, traceable AI model access.
- Improve concurrency, distributed locking, resilience, request limits, latency, and high availability in high-traffic environments.
- Collaborate with internal users and teams across geographies to translate platform needs into improvements.
- Estimate capacity, analyze operational impact, and integrate models with documentation, billing, observability, and communication processes.
- Identify memory bottlenecks, timeouts, and distributed-system locks while applying observability and SRE practices.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Go or Java for developing high-performance microservices.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and applying versioning and practices such as SOLID, Clean Architecture, and TDD.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, Redis, KVS, object storage, queues, and configuration services for cloud or distributed architectures.
- Ability to use unit and functional testing with mocks.
- Knowledge of or interest in machine learning and generative artificial intelligence.
- Ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, and collaborate effectively in a distributed environment.
